Video Game Development Week 10: Implementing the “New” Input System

This week we will be talking about Unity’s “new” (it’s a few years old now) input system. This is not the default input functionality that comes with Unity because it is difficult to implement, but it is very powerful when used appropriately. We will be creating a simple input manager script to package events from the new input system and send them to a player controller. At the end of this class, we will have a capsule that can be controlled.
